We call our little Anika Claire, our flower. She has such a sunny, happy-go-lucky disposition with a ready smile and eyes that shine. Her middle name, Claire, means "light". The other day we found out that there's a flower named Arnica: a woodland beauty native to the Western USA. It just tickled me b/c it looks like a sun, and we have often called her "the arniker" as a silly nickname - we don't know why. But now, so fitting. So now her pet name is "the arnica" :)
