Hooray for Rain!

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to be in the mountains during a rainshower. It's been cloudy and rainy all week, but there is no comparison to experiencing this in the mountains. When we got to the top we stood on the rock and looked out into pure white. (We were definitely in IFR conditions, as Brandon commented) It was definitely trippy and we weren't in the least bit disappointed for a lack of view. Rather, this is just the kind of view we've been longing for - nothing but nature and not a trace of city. Brandon took a dip in the stream on the way down and we also proudly returned with not a single mosquito bite. Very surprise seeing as the bites on some of my students seem to be taking over their arms! A marvelous relaxing day and only 2.5 weeks til mom and dad's visit!!!
